Thanks for your support. When I run
gst-launch-1.0 -v spinnakersrc ! videoconvert ! ximagesink
I get the following from the verbose bit:

I somehow don’t think that the “nvbuf_utils: Could not get EGL display connection” is the problem, because I am also not able to do compression on the gpu, directly to a file. Any advice?
