Cannot launch sdkmanager: seemingly no permission for any SDKs

Hi, I am new and just unpacked my Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit. So I’ve read I need to flash a new firmware to install Jetpack 6.2.x. I tried to use sdkmanager –cli, but it tries to access a configuration file, and then tells me, my user account does not have access to any SDKs.

I am running on an M4 Mac (Arm64) on Ubuntu Linux 22.04 in a VM (Parallels) with no GUI. The Logins via the Links work out just fine, yet, it seems sdkmanager cannot access any resources / SDKs on the Nvidia servers.

I am not sure how to approach this. Am I missing something?

Tim

That’s the problem, and suggest to use the native Ubuntu OS system.

Not so easy. I’m running on Apple Silicon, perhaps that’s the issue, at least it seams from the compatibility Matrix.

I have two openSUSE Boxes on amd64, so I’ll try there, if not there’s an older Intel-iMac which could boot of a memory stick. Hassle…. :-)
