Car Crash and soft body physics

Hi, I am new to PhysX and games development. I am basically java developer. I need some information before starting with PhysX SDK.

  1. does PhysX support or have API for soft body physics?
  2. is it possible to create real time car crash simulator with PhysX like ‘BeamNG’?
  3. PhysX SDK is enough for game development or anything else also required like any other third party gaming engine?
  4. I have already downloaded PhysX SDK. can I use Netbeans or Eclipse IDE as code editor?
