To make sure my cat gets lots of exercise inside over the winter, I added object detection (YOLOv5) to find him. Then, using a ZED2 stereo camera, I located his location and used a robot arm (NED) to point a laser pointer just out of his reach. All of the processing was done on a Jetson AGX, and the arm was controlled using ROS. All the code is available below the video.
