I realise this is probably the wrong place to ask or comment on but who is the target audience for this software.

While trying to figure out if cloudxr is the technology we choose for our project (and i’d argue it is because there is absolutely nothing else in the market that can do the same) I was asked to give them an estimation of hosting costs. I’m staggered to see that the minimum prices I can get is something like 900€ on AWS and 1800€ on google cloud and 500€ on Azure. And it’s not even for multiple users on the same instance. It’s a 1:1 thing which makes this price for 1 single user. Who can charge these prices just to break even on hosting?

What am I missing?
Can I run multiple instances of cloud xr on the same aws instance?

You’re not paying for CloudXR you’re paying for the underlaying hardware from aws,azure etc to host the piece of infrastructure.

I never said I was paying for cloud xr. I was just staggered at the cost of the infrastructure. I was just wondering here if I was interpreting it correctly or not.

Apologies I misunderstood. In that case yes, hosting hpc instances in a cloud infrastructure is unfortunately expensive. We pay around $3AUD per hour for one in AWS currently
