I need to confirm a specific compatibility question before I proceed.
My Goal:
I need to install the full, unified “DOCA-OFED” package (not just the OFED drivers). My server vendor (Supermicro) recommended DOCA-OFED 3.0.0-058218 to go with my GPU driver.
My Environment:
OS: Ubuntu 24.04.03 LTS (This is the key point)
Server: Supermicro (HGX B200)
NVIDIA Driver: 580.95.05
CUDA: 13.0
ConnectX7 : 28.46.3048
InfiniBand: 4x ConnectX-7 400G (1-Port)
The Problem / My Question:
I want to install the recommended DOCA-OFED 3.0.0-058218 package, but I cannot find an official repository or installer for Ubuntu 24.04. The documentation for DOCA 3.0.0 only seems to list Ubuntu 22.04 as a supported OS.
Is it possible to install the DOCA-OFED 3.0.0-058218 unified package on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS?
If not, is there a different unified “DOCA-OFED” (full package, not just OFED drivers) version that is compatible with Ubuntu 24.04?
I am asking because I must use the unified DOCA package, but I am on the Ubuntu 24.04 OS.
(Side question: lspci shows 8 Mellanox devices for my 4 physical cards. Is this normal multi-function behavior? See screenshot.)
