CUDA 10.2 on Windows Server gives

Dear all,

despite all topics handling the similar problem, I’ve got no solution for that until now:

  • Windows Server 2016
  • newest CUDA driver 441.22
  • Quadro P2200 and Tesla V100S

Nothing works. Neither downgrading to 10.1, 10.0 or 9.2 nor using a alternative driver for P2200 (442.19 as provided from nVidia site)

Can anybody help me? What went wrong?

Where do you see “insufficient driver” ?

It comes from the Cudart64.dll. Each call returns a cudaerror =35. For instance when calling cudaGetDeviceCount

Dear Robert,

please, can I have a reply on my issue? Each DLL call ends up with cudaError 35. It is a bit frustrating

I won’t be able to fix it for you. The only suggestion would be a complete reload of the system - start over. You may have some driver component left over from a previous install or configuration that is not up to the 10.2 required level. A full reload/install would clear that out. If that doesn’t work I have no further suggestions.

Hm, that worked, thanks. No idea why…
