CUDA CRASHES in every VIDEO CONVERTING software Still getting error in CUDA enabled application by c

Hi There.

I am trully tired of testing hundreds of applications, supporting CUDA … Every of them crashes after short while (or immediatelly sometimes). I have pure installation on my PC, with all latest and stabile drivers. Good pc case cooling. There's any single problem at all, only CUDA makes me sad. I am working every day with video from my 5D MARK II (I am a photographer/videographer) and I need CUDA supported converting. I was 'googling' everywhere, testing tons of drivers, utilities, soft … nothing was helping for me. (and I am not alone, as I see on other sites)

Is there ANYONE, who solved this problem? PLEEEASE ! :-*

(GIGABYTE P55A UD6, 16GB ram, i7 870s, MSI N460GTX Cyclone 768D5/OC, PCI-E, OCZ REVODRIVE 180GB, SW raid 2x WD Caviar Blue KS - 640GB)

please, if you have the same problem, or you know how to fix this, add me on facebook under Petr Fink, or skype fink.cz

When you say crash, does it give you a segmentation error or is it your display driver that crashes?

If it is segmentation, I have no idea what is wrong. If it is the other, try and look at the max delay you are allowing the kernels to run for. Take a look at

for further explanation.

hi there again … it seems that bios update on Gigabyte MOBO has solved the problem. It seems that freezing and crashing in major CUDA video converters I am using has vanished. Have a verrrryyy nice day and thank you for friendly support.
