cutil_inline.h lost in upgrade from toolkit 3 to 5?

Hi guys,
for my project I’m importing some .cu files from an already developed (old) software to used them in the new version I’m developing.

On the old version CUDA SDK v3 was used, and I’m currently using CUDA SDK v5 with Visual Studio 2010.

After importing and setting the .cu file in VS2010 (as explained in different guides on the web) I try to compile but gives me those errors:

Error	1	error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'cutil_inline.h': No such file or directory
D:\Giuseppe\C++Workspace0130326_WSICode_CUDAintegration\SDK\Examples\C++\Flex_CUDA\	2	1	Flex_CUDA
Error	2	error MSB3721: The command ""C:\Program Files\NVIDIA GPU Computing Toolkit\CUDA\v5.0\bin\nvcc.exe" -gencode=arch=compute_10,code=\"sm_10,compute_10\" --use-local-env --cl-version 2010 -ccbin "c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\bin"  -I"C:\Program Files\NVIDIA GPU Computing Toolkit\CUDA\v5.0\include" -I"C:\Program Files\NVIDIA GPU Computing Toolkit\CUDA\v5.0\include"  -G     --ptxas-options=-v --machine 32 --compile -I.  -g   -D_MBCS -Xcompiler "/EHsc /W3 /nologo /Od /Zi /RTC1 /MDd  " -o "Debug\" "D:\Giuseppe\C++Workspace0130326_WSICode_CUDAintegration\SDK\Examples\C++\Flex_CUDA\"" exited with code 2.	C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\BuildCustomizations\CUDA 5.0.targets	592	10	Flex_CUDA

The header “cutil_inline.h” is present in the CUDA toolkit version 3 but not in the version 5.

Why? Is the retro compatibility ensured?
