There has been this behavior since nvidia 560.35 where i plug my display to my laptop and it awakes the gpu, pretty normal(dgpu hardwire to hdmi), but then if i unplug the cable from the hdmi the ideal behaviour was supposed to be going back to d3cold where it doesn’t anymore at least to me.
Prior to 560.35 this didn’t happen so might seem like a small regression from somewhere ever since.
I am using nvidia-smi and supergfxctl along with the plasma6 applet to track gpu states in the desktop
