DGX Spark price increase

On a related note, the EU price of the DGX Spark on the NVIDIA marketplace increased to 4800 € (5656 $): https://marketplace.nvidia.com/it-it/enterprise/personal-ai-supercomputers/dgx-spark/

This doesn’t help those of us willing to grow tiny labs.

I bought the Asus GX10 with 1TB drive at 35500 SEK, it’s still available in Sweden for 35500. However the original DGX Spark, the Dell, the Lenovo… have gone up in price

Looks like the founders edition in the US might be going to go up to $4669 from $4000 (unconfirmed – current inventories are selling at normal price). I have a cluster – and part of my motivation for rushing to buy them NOW was exactly that…

Given the supply constraints for memory these days, it was expected to happen…

You can still buy it for $3.999 at microcenter NVIDIA DGX Spark; 20 core Arm, 10 Cortex-X925 + 10 Cortex-A725 Arm; 128GB LPDDR5x Unified RAM; 4TB Solid State Drive; NVIDIA - Micro Center

While supplies last! Microcenter is awesome though. But I really did jump to buy a few more anticipating price increases. Once they (at the NVIDIA level I guess) burn through the current inventory that is priced in, next batch has to go up in price.

Price is already up on the marketplace.nvidia.com. $4,699 for a single unit and $9,449 for the bundle, network cable included.

ouch, that’s a substantial increase. Will RTX6000 Pro be affected too?
oh, I meant to reply to @aniculescu

RAM prices go up. Even our second hand 3090ti card price rose last year.

In my opinion price trends will stay.

Is there a “nicehash” style platform for compute owners yet?

I did a quick search on Google and it seems pretty hard to find a DGX at a reasonable price right now.

While reading a blog post about two DGX interconnect , I noticed that NADDOD is also selling DGX spark, and the price ($8451) appears to be a bit lower than NVIDIA’s. I sent an email and they replied saying they have stock available. It might be worth giving it a try…

I can’t speak to any other products

In the UK, Scan’s price is currently still the same as it was at launch (£3,699.98 + £5.48 shipping). The Ascent is £2,799.98 (which I think is also what it was at launch). Both are in stock.

(I’m not sure if either of these are “reasonable”, but they at least haven’t been hiked yet 😄)

Thanks for the heads up.
I got my 2nd unit from Microcenter through Amazon at the original price.
They now have it for $300 more.

Can’t wait for Microcenter to open here in the old Fry’s store.

Same in Germany. Lots of stock at the old price from multiple retailers (even Amazon).

Microcenter is basically heaven on earth. I refuse to ever move somewhere further away from one than I am today–about a half hour–it’s long enough to deter me from random impulse buys, but not too far to stop me from “good instinct”/done my research buys (I was waiting for the Spark for months and knew exactly what to expect: a tugboat that could handle almost anything but not a speedboat; that’s the 5090’s job and they’re perfect partners). I got the Spark on opening day (8th nerd in line) and got a prebuilt MSI gaming PC with a 5090 and 64gb RAM on sale for $3999 in July–now it’s $5499 for the exact same one. Crazy how the usual rules of inflation/depreciation are essentially meaningless in this world.

Thanks for sharing the update!😄 Good to know the prices in the UK haven’t increased yet and that both are still in stock. I’ll keep an eye on how the pricing evolves in the coming weeks.

Is the situation in Germany as to the prices still this same? In Poland they are increasing.

Old stock at the same price, but low availability. New price + ~4-5%, so no big increase yet.

I was told that on average 300-400 usd on 1TB DB10 units will happen in 1-3 months.

1GB Asus price increase 200 EUR from 01.03. to today 3300,- EUR at notebooksbilliger or galaxus in GER. I got one there at atl 3100 EUR.
