I’m seeing different memory capacities reported on a system with 2x Titan V. Running the device query from the cuda toolkit I see that one card reports 12065 MBytes (12651462656 bytes) of memory while the other card reports 12067 MBytes (12652838912 bytes).
This does not seem right to me, is this expected?
I wouldn’t say expected but I’ve previously seen the same card reporting different values (+/-2MB) depending on driver version so I wouldn’t think too much of it.
Okay, I didn’t realize that. In my case, both cards are running with the same driver version and reporting different values, so it seemed unusual. I just updated the drivers and different values persist.
Update: Just swapped the slots the cards occupied, and GPU 0 reports slightly less memory, so it’s definitely driver related.
