DLSS 3-4+ in UE4.27.2

Hello, I have a question about DLSS in Unreal Engine 4.27.2, from a technical standpoint is it possible to add DLSS 3-4 and higher versions without using the new version of Unreal Engine 5?

I understand that DLSS is officially supported in Unreal Engine 5 and that global, out-of-the-box support is not available for Unreal Engine 4.27.2, however from a technical perspective UE4.27.2 still provides the required rendering data for DLSS (motion vectors, depth, exposure, temporal history) and its rendering pipeline shares many structural similarities with UE5,

it would be possible to make the older Unreal Engine 4.27.2 graphics affect the way DLSS renders as its own render under deep DLSS integration by modifying the rendering pipeline,

so i would like to know if it is possible to use DLSS with UE4 by modifying the render to its own? because in the normal zone it is mostly the same only the graphics are not the same as in UE5(lumens) so i think it would be possible to make it work with UE4 DLSS 3-4 and higher.

Thanks for Responding!
Andrew

Welcome @Flaczki901_0 to the NVIDIA developer forums.

If you want to backport the newest DLSS features to older UE versions, your best bet is to use the Streamline SDK directly. That allows integration of DLSS into any form of render engine.

I hope that helps!
