I am new to Omniverse, and I am trying to enable extension followed by the tutorials, my third party extension is empty. Do you feel i am missing out something so as to get all the third party/community extensions listed.

No, you do not need nucleus, installed to access extensions. And if you are new to Omniverse, I would just stick with the main nvidia extensions for now. Third-party extensions normally show up when you do a custom install from a zip file.
Also, if you are new to Omniverse, I would not use nucleus and uninstall it. I would just use your normal, Windows file system, and back it up. It’s not easy to back up the nucleus server, and there is risk of you losing your work.
