Does Tesla A100 support GPUDirect?

Hi,
I would like to ask if the new Tesla A100 supports GPUDirect technology?

It is not clearly stated in the datasheet or whitepaper of this card. Moreover, it is not listed as a supported GPU in GPUDirect for Video article.

Can I assume that ALL Tesla series cards will support GPUDirect?

Any updates on this? We are considering purchasing the a100 but only if it supports gpudirect so we can perform dmas directly to it

A100 supports GPUDirect RDMA, GPUDirect P2P, and GPUDirect Storage, all on linux. All of those technologies have specific platform requirements to support GPUDirect, and I’m not intending to give an exhaustive description of support footprint here, but there are certainly other requirements for the system and system software for these technologies to work. A100 is not a Tesla series card. If your interest is GPUDirect for Video, I suggest you go by the published list of supported GPUs on the previously linked website.

Before large scale purchasing decisions, I encourage anyone to evaluate specific systems of interest, against specific workloads, to determine suitability. These statements are not a guarantee that some particular system will behave in some particular way.
