We need to link a Supermicro server with a ConnectX-4 to a Cisco NCS using a 100GbE DC interconnect fiber link. We’ve tried many config variations. Now we brought the server close to the NCS and even between rack rows, the link does not come up. The CX4 worked fine using the same transceiver ( 100G Base-LR4 QSFP28 SMF LC 10Km ) on a local loopback using a SMF LC/LC on both ports. The same loopback test ran fine on the Cisco NCS, but the link between the CX4 and the NCS does not come up. Any hints?
Hi Alex,
The list of validated and supported cables for the ConnectX-4 adapter cards can be found in the firmware release notes.
