Failed item in "v4l2-compliance"

I have an IMX415 sensor attached to my Xavier NX. The sensor works fine in capture with either gstreamer or v4l2-ctl. However when I test the sensor, I got one failure in the “Test input 0: Format ioctls:” section:

procerus@procerus-desktop:~$ v4l2-compliance -d /dev/video1

Total: 43, Succeeded: 42, Failed: 1, Warnings: 0

is this failure need to be fixed? What is the potential problem this error can cause?
Which area, device tree or device driver, should I look at for a fixing?
Thanks.

hello stuart.xu,

you may ignore this test failure.
VIDIOC_G/S_PARM failed for v4l2Compliance test is expected, since they’re not implemented.

@JerryChang Thanks for the explanation.
