Failed to start nvpmodel service

Greetings, this is a new issue. Everything was working a couple days ago. Now suddenly there are problems. The first sign there was a problem is that my IMX219 cameras were showing significant latency. Digging into this, I found that the nvpmodel service is not starting. Looking at ‘systemctl status nvpmodel.service’ I get this:

nvpmodel.service - nvpmodel service
Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/nvpmodel.service; enabled; vendor pres>

Looking into this, I also checked on the docker service and found this:

docker.service - Docker Application Container Engine

Thanks for the help in advance. It seems most problems I discover I am able to find a solution, but this one is really stumping me.

And yes, I tried restarting the docker service with: sudo service docker restart

Hi,
Do you use latest Jetpack 5.1.3? It is the latest version and would like to confirm you are using the release.

Yes. This was flashed with the latest builds using SDKMamager about a week ago.

Here is a more detailed answer:
Jetpack 6.0
CUDA 12.2.140
cuDNN 8.9.4.25
TensorRT 8.6.2.3
VPI 3.0.10
Vulkan 1.3.204
OpenCV 4.8.0
Python 3.10.12

Any help or advice on this?

Hi,
You maty re-flash to 5.1.3 and 5.1.2, 5.1.1, and see if the issue is present. If the issue is present on multiple software releases, the board may be physically broken.

Ok. I toss in the towel. I was able to get things working after quite a bit of struggle. I was able to get video processing happening, then the services started failing. How can I get a replacement board? I cant even get a flash complete at this stage.

Hi,
If your Orin Nano developer kit is with SD slot, please try other SD cards. If it does not have SD slot, please try other NVMe SSD cards. If you have tried to flash it with multiple Jetpack versions + rootfs in different SD cards/NVMEe SSD cards, and neither works, please go RMA process:
