Are you sure both video cards are set up correctly? Does the second card fail in any other graphics applications? I have not seen this before. Let me ask the Dev team.
they work perfectly fine in all other applications ( and used to be fine on omniverse ). Today was rendering karma xpu and cycles on 2 gpus
karma xpu:
OK and do you have the exact correct recommended driver for Omniverse? It’s not the latest driver. If you do, I want you to uninstall and reinstall the driver anyway.
I do, I took out one card and things are working, maybe I’ll just leave it like that for now, who knows maybe the 2nd card was actually bad? I’ll try later when I have more time. Now I can try rendering here, to see if the aov’s write correctly.
Cheers,
koen
Yes, that’s strange. Definitely worth investigating. Another thing you can do rather than having to physically remove the card is put the card back in, and then just simply disable the second card in the device manager, right before you want to use kit. There’s also a multi GPU option in kit, which if you disable it, it should work just fine as well. No need to actually remove the card.
However, you should test the card in other applications that support multi GPU.
