It would be so much better to use this modern well-documented API than the legacy v4l2 and all its messy hard-to-follow samples and almost no proper documentation.
Plus we’d finally be able to unlock AV1 10-bit encoding on Jetson, which isn’t possible currently due to the v4l2 software stack being used.
