Firmware TPM (fTPM) - FIPS 140-3 Compliance

Hello everyone,

we want to add some security features to our AGX Orin Industrial based product and are interested in using the integrated fTPM. I read that it is developed after the TPM 2.0 specification but did not find it on the NIST Cryptographic Module Validation Program list. Also I found nothing about FIPS140 (preferably version 3) compliance.

Can you give some information, if the fTPM is TPM 2.0 and/or FIPS 140-3 compliant? Is there documentation available?

If there is no compliance currently, does NVIDIA plan on officially certifying the fTPM after FIPS 140-3 in the future?

fTPM adhere to the TPM 2.0 standards, which provides the same core TPM 2.0 functionality.

it’s not. let me check with internal team for any plans.

FYI, we do not have plans to support FIPS 140-3 compliant in the near future.
