Flashing Jetson Orin Nano Super through USB on nvme not working

Hi,

I am trying to install Jetpack 6.2 in NVME on Jetson Orin Nano Super but I get error:

I followed the steps provided in
https://docs.nvidia.com/sdk-manager/wsl-systems/index.html

Additional information:

NVME is 256GB with ext4 partition
I also tried to install Jetpack 6.1. Logs are attached.

I did succeed with installing on SD card before. I have removed the SD card before attempting any of the above.

Hi,
Please check

Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) — SDK Manager

  1. Flashing an external storage device is not supported.

Would be great if you can have a Ubuntu host PC. So you can follow the guiadance to flash the Orin Nano developer kit:

Quick Start — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide 1 documentation

Hi,

My apologies I provided the wrong link. I am attempting to install on Ubuntu host system.

This is the link I followed:
https://docs.nvidia.com/sdk-manager/install-with-sdkm-jetson/index.html

I realized the issue was I was trying to install on an M.2 SATA SSD and not NVMe SSD. It worked as intended after changing the SSD.

Please delete the post if you wish.
