Getting started with tensorflow on GTX 260 (low-end graphics card)

I am just starting off on the GPU accelerated compute and have a computer with dual GTX260 (SLI). I am wondering what I can do with this. This cards is supposed to support CUDA according to https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-260/specifications.

Does anyone any experience using a low-end graphics card for GPU-compute acceleration

You can’t use these cards with Tensorflow. TF requires GPUs of compute capability 3.0 or higher, these are compute capability 1.x They are also not supported by any CUDA version after CUDA 6.5
