I usually export __GL_VRR_ALLOWED=0 to disable Adaptive Sync for those games that have problems with it but Vulkan games ignore this completely.
Is this intended? Is there a Vulkan equivalent of this environment variable that I’m not aware of?
Same story with __GL_GSYNC_ALLOWED=0. Works with OpenGL but not with Vulkan.
I even tried setting GLGSYNCAllowed to false using application profiles but, as expected, Vulkan applications still ignore it.
Tested driver versions: 430.40 from the Ubuntu ppa.
Tested distros: Ubuntu 19.04, Kubuntu 18.04.
