Help xavier nx - boson carrier

Hey, im using the cti flash.sh to flash my nx - boson with base image, after i setup the ubuntu i change the extlinux.conf to nvme instead of the mmcblk. its pretty much a pure waste of time for me since i run the xavier with SSD device.
is there any way to run the base image using the cti-flash and forcing the jetson to boot up with the nvme instead of the mmcblk?

using jetpack 4.6.2 xavier-nx-targets
