How to control frame rate of the display port output using nvidia driver or nvidia settings?

I Would like to know a way of reducing the frame rate of the display port output for my QuadroM4000 Card, from 60 fps to 24 fps. Is there a way of achieving that using the driver or nvidia settings in Linux?
