How to disable UEFI message when the NVIDIA logo showed

Sorry, just some confirm
Did you have other modifications or just comment out the line of message?

Just commenting out that single line.

Hi,

I have test Orin Nano devkit(with Orin Nx SOM boot form nvme) and AGX Orin devkit(boot from emmc) respectively

Some results here:

  1. Only comment out one line would not make size change, it changed only when comment out multiple lines
  2. Use the same modified BOOTAA64.efi has different result, the message can be removed on AGX Orin, but failed on Orin Nx

Would you give me some suggestions on this issue?

The file size doesn’t really matter.
I tried on Orin Nano and I’m sure it works.

Hi,

Are you sure that is the boot log?

I found there’s no L4TLauncher message when flash
but it appears after reboot

Here’s full log
uart_log.txt (193.3 KB)

YES. Definitely.

Are you sure the esp partition is really flashed?

How to check esp partition is really flashed?

I just use the full flash command recommended by document

Check your flashing log.

Yes, it showed ā€œWriting esp partition doneā€

Here’s log
flashing_log.txt (304.9 KB)

Can you try again with another NVMe drive that has not been flashed before?

Thanks, it works…

Is there any log showed Nvme has error?

NO.
The flashing tool just re-generates the partition table on the disk, instead of really erasing contents on it.
So maybe the old image containing undesired print still lives on the disk after flashing.

Hi,

Sorry for one more question

Could I also disable the playback bars where is located the bottom of screen?

I don’t think so.
