How to make use of multiple graphic cards ? Is it possible ?

I have 2 Nvidia 8800 GT graphic cards and I want to make use of both of them to run my kernal. Is it possible to run a single kernal making use of processors from both the graphic cards?

If so, does the kernal run automatically on the 2 cards installed in the machine or do we have to tell it do so (how) ?

Will the speed up be significant?

You could run one kernel on a card and so 2 Kernels on 2 cards.

You have to manually divide the work between 2 cards and collate the results. CUDA Drivers have no capability to query a graphics device whether it is free for computation or not.
