How to map displayId's to physical ports on the GPU

Hi,

I am trying to get PathInfo for each display connected to GPU, but unable to find anyway to know which displayId is connected to which physical port on the GPU

Dear ogulzarch,

Thank you for contacting NVIDIA developer forum.

  1. Could you elaborate more on “PathInfo” that you are trying to get? Is it a structure defined in some SDK (NVAPI/Microsoft API)?

  2. By the phrase “which displayId is connected to which physical port on the GPU”, do you wish to know about a relative ordering of the physical ports (say, 0 through n) on the GPU along with the information of which display is connected on which port numbers?

We have looped in the respective team to track this request. We will help you based on the answers to the questions above.

In case you do not wish to follow up on this query any more, kindly let us know.

Thanks, NVAPI Forum Moderator

Hello,

I am the same questions as ogulzarch. I am also looking for a way to use the NVAPI to determine which part of the desktop rectangle goes to what physical connector of the GPU. I am able to work out the displayId for a screen/output only this does not point to a physical connector. Am I missing something?
