Installation of two GPU cards?

Hi,

I just got a new Tesla C2050 today and wanted to plug it into the second PCI slot of the motherboard which already has a GTX 260 on the primary PCI slot.
However, the driver seems not like it. I have uninstalled the nvidia driver and reinstalled it after I plug in the second GPU card. Using the deviceQuery of SDK gave me message that nvidia1 was not found. I tried to using nvidia-xconfig to reconfigure the x server also, but did not work. In the nvidia-setting panel, there was not card information. However, if I only plug any of the two cards to the primary PCI slot, the driver works fine even though I still cannot see any card information in nvidia-setting panel. Any one have similar experience ? Thanks!

Are you sure that your system has enough power to run both cards? If various tools refuse to talk to the second card, there may simply not be enough power to truly power it up.

My power supply is 850W. I am not quite sure if it is sufficient for two cards. That is a good point.

Thanks!
