New installation of OpenSuse with updates and drivers from official Nvidia repository.
Am only running fluxbox window manager to try and isolate potential window manager issues. xfce4 was previously also freezing.
Any quick look into settings greatly appreciated. Per previous thread [0]

I found that default kernel modules included with the kernel were overwriting version in /proc/driver/nvidia/version when attempting to run latest beta version 465.19.01 [1] for example

Although might be a reach, with this new install, am currently testing whether this may be a bug with the linux kernel or driver where separate nvme devices are mounted (in my case, had nvme0 as boot and install partition with nvme1 as dedicated /home partition).
currently able to toggle via entries in fstab
UUID=xxxxxe-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxx /home btrfs subvol=/@/home
vs
UUID=xxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx /home btrfs defaults 0 0
Also, attempted to install OpenSuse Leap with kernel versions 5.10.x although machine would not boot with this version no matter what settings were changed.
There’s nothing nvidia related in the logs. Since spontaneous reboots are observed, I’d guess it’s a general hardware defect, mainboard/memory/psu.
