Is it possible to rewrite the MAC address of the OrinNX?

I would like to use the same method as with the TX2, by updating the value in the “Customer-overwritable MAC addresses” section of the EEPROM.

However, I came across a forum discussion stating that the MAC address of the OrinNX cannot be rewritten. Is this accurate?

If this is the case, what options do we have for setting our own MAC addresses when shipping our mass-produced products?
Any recommendations on how to achieve this?

Hi,

The MAC address of Orin NX is fused in the OTP of the Realtek phy directly but not read from EEPROM.

Please contact Realtek for the tool to modify it.
