I noticed the original JetPack 6.1 announcement pinned to this forum has been removed. Also noticed that the Hello AI World project is not working, specifically building from source as indicated by many forum threads (1, 2, 3, etc.).
Are you pulling back JP6.1? Are you expecting to release JP6.2 to address the many issues, if so, when will it be ready? Do you recommend JP6.0 in the meantime? I notice the JP6.0 announcement is still pinned in this forum.
Yes, the JetPack 6.1 is the latest recommended SW for Jetson Orin family.
The un-pinned is just the pinned setting issue, we will pine it at the top again.
Sorry for briging the confusion.
In the meantime I’m running on JP6.0. All works well, except for the TAO detection models.
What’s the estimated completion date for Hello AI World (jetson-inference) compatibility on JP6.1/L4T36.4?
I think the Hello AI World project is extremely valuable, informative, and essential, especially for Sparkfun type customers. Building it from source rather than running from a docker container is very important too.
