Is TensorRT Python API supported on Jetson Xavier?

We noticed we cannot import package tensorrt after installing JetPack 4.0. Is TensorRT Python API supported on Xavier?

Hi lburzawa, the TensorRT Python API isn’t support on Jetson due to some missing dependencies, we are hoping to include it in a future release.

Any news on this? I’m still not able to import tensorrt on my jetson.
I though that tensorrt5 would be fully supported by Jetson Xavier?

Hi Magaly, yes we have plans to add support for TensorRT Python API in the next release of JetPack, please see this post regarding the timeline:
