So I have lost my password but I am able to crack it since I got the hash for this one. My current gpu is not strong enough to handle the estimated time so I was planing to buy two rtx 3060 Ti to crack my password faster. For this I am using hashcat of course. My question is: Is it senseless to buy Nvidia gpus for cracking password? Since they are limited by drivers and technically it is almost the same process compared btc mining to cracking sha256 hashes or so, my fear is to do a false investment.
