Issue Update to 470 driver on Linux Mint 20.2 Uma

When I update my Nvidia 460.27.04, CUDA Version: 11.2 driver on my GeForce RTX 2060 Linux Mint 20.2 Uma machine to the recommended 470.86-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 driver, using the driver manager, I get this error message below. How can I fix this?

You likely installed the full cuda package which includes the driver and you got dependencies to that driver version which now blocks updating just the driver.
Please uninstall everything cuda and nvidia, then install the driver using Software&Updates. Afterwards, install just the cuda-toolkit (e.g. apt install cuda-toolkit-11-2).
