Issues migrating projects from 16.04 to 18.04 jetson Nano

Hello team,

We are using nvedia products over a year now, but now we want to migrate our projects to jetson nano. But we are facing issues with the os version 18.04 as all of our projects and builds are dependent on 16.04.
Is there any solution or 16.04 image for jetson nano which we can use and resume our projects with jetson nano?
Kindly provide the solution for the above so that we can start with jetson nano.

Hi Prakash, the official JetPack OS image is based on Ubuntu 18.04, which Jetson Nano/TX1/TX2/Xavier use. There aren’t plans to downgrade back to 16.04. The Canonical support for 16.04 ends sooner and embedded devices typically have a long lifetime.

Can you share the issues you face migrating to 18.04?

Not sure if it can working for 16.04 as dusty said, but you can try download 16.04 “L4T Sample Root File System” and reference to below document to set it up.
