Hi @ssharmeen, we are currently looking into the timeline to migrate to 20.04, but don’t have further details to share yet.

Hey dusty would you perhaps have an ETA on this, can we expect this directly after Jetpack 4.5 or is it further away?

@dusty_nv will this include a newer kernel?

Hi @jake, yes upgrade to newer kernel and Ubuntu 20.04 would come at the same time.

nvidia has abandoned Jetson Nano as a platform and will not be providing a more recent kernel or ubuntu version. per Jetson Software Roadmap for 2H-2021 and 2022

Jetson Nano along with TX1/TX2 will continue to be supported with security updates and bug fixes to JetPack. Closing this thread for now since it is ~7 months old - for more info, please refer to the software roadmap announcement.
