Jetson-gpio installation issue

When trying to install Jetson-gpio python package I run to following problem:
sudo cp /lib/python3/dist-packages/Jetson/GPIO/99-gpio.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/ gives
cp: cannot stat ‘lib/python/Jetson/GPIO/99-gpio.rules’: No such file or directory
I have verified that there is no 99-gpio.rules file. I can still import Jetson.GPIO. Why is this happening?

If you install Jetson.GPIO via Python PIP, you should follow this instruction, not the one you mentioned:

If you installed Jetson.GPIO from a package, e.g. using pip into a virtual environment:

sudo cp venv/lib/pythonNN/site-packages/Jetson/GPIO/99-gpio.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/

I have checked that there is no gpio-99.rules file in anywhere in my system. I also tried that command that you provided.

Then you can directly download it here:
