I bought a Jetson Nano in late 2019. I thought Nvidia discontinued it, but I saw the announcement that it will be in production until 2027.
The latest support from Nvidia is Jetpack 4.6.1 which gives you Ubuntu 18.04
I don’t understand why Nvidia does not provide a more up to date OS, something like Unbuntu 22.04 LTS. If they do not provide any updates, why sell it until 2027?
On the opposite side of the spectrum, Raspberry Pi foundation has much better software support for their old boards.
Hi,
The latest release for Jetson Nano is Jetpack 4.6.4. You may try the latest version. And please refer to our roadmap: Jetson Software Roadmap for 2023
We have new Orin series including AGX Orin, Ori NX, Orin Nano. Would be great if you can check the platforms.
