Jetson Nano - IMX219-160 Arducam detect but don't work

Hi I use a IMX219-160 Arducam on a Jetson Nano width Jetpack 4.6.1.
When I do ls /dev/v* I have the file /dev/video0.
When I check the camera with v4l2-ctl --list-devices I get theses results :

vi-output, imx219 6-0010 (platform:54080000.vi:0):
	/dev/video0

So my Jetson nano detect well my camera but when I try to use it, it didn’t work. I have check already on forums and it can be a problem of pipeline, I don’t know if its from Jetpack version or something else ?

$ gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc sensor_id=0 ! nvoverlaysink

or

$ gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc ! ‘video/x-raw(memory:NVMM), width=1920, height=1080,
format=(string)NV12, framerate=(fraction)30/1' ! nvoverlaysink -e

any display with this command?

Hi @MtHiker thanks for your reply.
For the first command I get this :

For the second command I get this output (I replace width and height by the correct value, here 1280*720) :

WARNING: erroneous pipeline: could not parse caps "video/x-raw(memory:NVMM),\ width=1280,\ height=720,\ format=(string)NV12,\ framerate(fraction)30/1"
  1. would you test if any USB webcam works on your Nano?
  2. never succeed before with this ArduCam?
    and try other RPi camera v2
  3. How about trying on the previous JetPack version, e.g 4.5

Please check if v4l2-ctl able capture successful.

v4l2-ctl --set-fmt-video=width=1920,height=1080 --set-ctrl bypass_mode=0 --stream-mmap -d /dev/video0

With an USB Camera it works on my Nano.
I found on another post, someone who his Arducam works on Jetpack 4.3 but not on 4.6. So right now I’ll try with Jetpack 4.3 to see if it works or no.

For this command with Jetpack 4.3 I get this

VIDIOC_S_FMT: failed: Device or resource busy
                                 VIDIOC_REQBUFS returned -1 (Device or resource busy)

After restart Jetson Nano, I run your command @ShaneCCC and nothing happen

So just to be clear. I reinstall a new Jetpack here 4.3. I run the first command of @MtHiker

gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc sensor_id=0 ! nvoverlaysink

and I have now this result :

Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
Pipeline is live and does not need PREROLL ...
Setting pipeline to PLAYING ...
New clock: GstSystemClock
GST_ARGUS: Creating output stream
CONSUMER: Waiting until producer is connected...
GST_ARGUS: Available Sensor modes :

So my output is the same than before less lot of errors of pipeline. So normally it should work but I don’t have any popup with what I captures with my camera. Do you know why ?

Check below command if able see the fps print in console.

gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc sensor-id=0 ! ‘video/x-raw(memory:NVMM),format=NV12’ ! nvvidconv ! fpsdisplaysink video-sink=fakesink sync=false -v

No FPS print in console with this command

Check the kernel message if any clue.
