Do not use sudo as this will invalidate environment variables.

First set the /opt directory to be writable.

sudo chmod -R a+w /opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream

Have you disabled sink0? How did you modify the configuration file? Can deepstream-test1 run normally?

its failed not use sudo.

yes, it was disabled. its my configuration file.

i cant use it.

The program can run normally in ssh, but the desktop environment needs to be started normally, including sink2, because some elements require EGL to work properly.

Please ensure that the desktop environment is started before testing deepstream-test1-app

Now I am using the normal burning, but not connected to the HDMI interface, is that OK?
How do I check if my desktop environment is started?
Thank you

You’d better use a monitor to take a look.

In fact, I was able to reproduce the above error when my desktop didn’t start. After I logged in, it worked fine

But my hardware is designed by myself, and the hdmi display part has been cut off, or is there any other demo or way to not rely on egl display, after all, my final product does not have a display, does deepstream have to have a display?

Probably not necessary.
Try the following patch, which is for deepstream-test1.

hello, my problem is ok, I refer to this question, now i unset DISPLAY and sink is of type rtsp
