Hello,
I submitted an application without a resume attached due to issues with trying to upload my resume on Workday (I ran into an ‘Alert:’ error). I tried renaming the file, converting it to .txt, and using Incognito mode, none of which were effective.
Please let me know if I can do anything to fix this! Thanks.
I am facing the same problem. It shows me a Alert Upload a file (5MB max) error and wouldn’t let me attach my resume while the file size is only 100 KB.
Same here. I also striped all formatting, which reduced the size down to 17 KB, and still got the same error message Alert-Upload a file (5MB max). Please let us know how to fix this.
@TomNVIDIA I hope you don’t mind me looping you in. You’ve been very helpful in the forum on resolving Workday portal errors successfully. Can I please trouble you for some guidance on how to fix this file upload error? Thank you in advance.
I am facing the same issue. I have tried the following:
- changing the pdf name
- changing from pdf to docx
- clearing my cookies and cache
- creating a new workday application account
- trying to apply in an incognito window
- trying to upload the files before I added skills and work experiences, to see if that mattered.
None of these have fixed the problem, and I am still facing the “Alert: Upload a file (5MB max)” error. I am hoping to submit my applications as soon as possible and would appreciate any help!
Update: Tried again this morning, and it did the trick ;)
Thank you for the update! I was able to attach and submit my application.
It looks like Workday reported an issue with the attachment functionality early Saturday morning; it has since been resolved, you should be able to apply & attach now.
