MCX314A-BBCT  40G ConnectX -3 pro failing to change mode to RoCE v2

Hi

I am using MCX314A-BBCT 40G ConnectX -3 pro card. I am trying to change the card to RoCEv2 mode with INBOX driver. as per the below document

But it is failing to change RoCE v2.

[root@xhdipsspdk1 ~]# echo “RoCE v2” > /sys/kernel/config/rdma_cm/mlx4_0/ports/2/default_roce_mode

echo “RoCE V2” > /sys/kernel/config/rdma_cm/mlx4_0/ports/1/default_roce_mode

-bash: echo: write error: Invalid argument

Is it possible to change mode RoCEv2 with this card?

Hi Rama,

Did you try to set RoCE mode in the same way as described in the document, by setting mlx4_core module parameter?

If it doesn’t work, please check the same with Mellanox OFED available from our web site. For INBOX driver, I would suggest to open case with OS vendor.
