All I did was create a cube, Add Deformable body and I get this message.
On the Physics Scene it is enabled, so not sure what to do.
Thanks
P.S. I did install the latest update, in case that is the culprit.

@DataJuggler out of curiosity, which new file template did you start out with? did you add the PhysicsScene prim yourself only to check the enable GPU dynamics
flag?
i cannot seem to repro this error in 2023.2.1 with the Default Stage
template, unfortunately; so if you can provide additional context, that’d be helpful for troubleshooting.
I added a Physics scene, and the default setting is checked ‘Enable GPU Dynamics’.
Was not supposed to add a Physics Scene?
i tried to repro by adding a physics scene before following exactly the same steps as the clip above but still can’t get the error message to pop up. i’ll let the mods/devs take a look at it and make appropriate assessment.
Can you please double check that you dont have the simulation overrides enabled for CPU simulation? This can be overridden in Window->Simulation->Debug

Ales
Sorry, I left out the fact I didn’t get the message until I change the Deformable Body amount to 60, then restart the simulation.
It works at 10. Change the Deformable Body amount to 60.
I am not able to reproduce the problem, can you please give me the exact steps please?
Thanks, regards
Ales
There is also a new error 700, but exact steps are:
The first time, you get about 4 errors saying Error Code 700. Stop the program, and start again and you get the error for Enable GPU Dynamics.
I tried to post a video, but it tells me I can’t.
just fyi - the way to get videos uploaded these days is via weblink such as YT or Google drive as they’ve disabled direct video formats a few months back.
I know. I was trying to keep the video off of my YouTube channel.

Thanks, it looks like the first run crashes the GPU and then it fails to create the CUDA context manager for PhysX SDK and there is no GPU support since. I will create a Jira ticket for the PhysX SDK team to fix the issue.
Thanks for reporting and sorry for the trouble.
Regards,
Ales
Can you try this again but this time try File > New Scene > Empty, and run the steps again.
I did File - Create From Template - Empty, and the same set of errors occur.
First a series of Error Code 700, and then the Enable GPU Dynamics error. I tried to screen shot it, but wasn’t fast enough.
Ok thanks. We have a ticket, we will look into it.
