Need help rescuing a BlueField-2/BF2-BMC

Hello, I’m in need of some assistance with a bricked MBF2H536C-CENO DPU. The presence of this DPU causes the host system to fail POST by being stuck on code 92 (PCI Bus Initialization).

The issue started after I installed the official DOCA 3.0 Ubuntu 22.04 bfb. I suspect that the issue may have something to do with the BMC, as a previous install attempt without bf.cfg (thus skipping BMC update) was successful.

Shorting the BMC_FNP jumpers did not, however, make any difference. Shorting BF2_FNP did allow the system to boot. I flashed an older, matching NIC firmware onto the card (the card ran on MBF2M536C-CECOT firmware before). This did not make any difference, the host continues to fail POST if BF2_FNP jumper is removed.

Update: My assumptions were completely wrong. The installation process left the DPU with a broken unbootable OS image, and the host automatically restarted after being stuck on PCI Initialization for too long, resulting in a boot loop. Swapping out the host allowed me to boot into Linux on the host and reinstall bfb.

That episode aside, the BMC on this BF2 is broken. The BMC web page simply has a line of text that reads *no authentication provided, and no login UI present to forward to". Anything I can do to fix this?
