Greetings,
I’m finally pulling the trigger and getting a GPU for the simulation computer I bought a little while ago. I’m currently looking at an EVGA GTX 980 TI (model 12 06G-P4-3994-KR). It looks like a really good value for the price. It’s going into an AMD based system with plenty of space on the motherboard, and I’m running Ubuntu (trusty tahir, I think).
Does anyone see a particular problem with this card in this system. I’m planning on buying the card in the very near future, and would like to know about potential problems with it. It looks like there’s zero overclocking on it, it’s running 1000/1076 for Base/Boost clocks, which matches the nVidia spec. Or is that no longer an issue?
Any info appreciated.
Regards,
Martin
