hi there! apart from this being a possible duplicate of another issue that happened in mid 2019, after running nvidia-settings with sudo and with being logged in as root, it’s unable to save just my display configuration. nvidia-settings output after running it in xfce4-terminal

ignoring the crooked ubuntu logo, this is a fresh install of xubuntu 20.04.3 LTS of where I spent most of it trying to combat mouse sensitivity, firefox blinding me with its light theme everytime I launch it and the wierd inability to save my display config with nvidia-settings. comment or contact me if more information/logs/console outputs are needed. thanks in advance!
