I am trying to change the memory frequency of the Quadro RTX 6000 using:
nvidia-smi -ac<MEM CLOCK,SM CLOCK>
Before doing this, I check the supported clocks using :
nvidia-smi -q -d SUPPORTED_CLOCKS

Before applying any changes, I enable the persistent mode and apply, say the clocks, MEM:5001 MHz and SM:1350 MHz.
I run a memory-intensive application(Polybench Floyd Warshall) and use nvidia-smi dmon
to monitor the memory and processor clocks.
I observed that the memory limit is never respected. It always stays at 6500MHz, but the SM limits are always respected.
Is this a bug, or are we not allowed to change memory clocks on enterprise-level cards?
