Hi,I have a virtual machine running Ubuntu 20.04 server, based on Esxi 8.0, with a GTX1650 graphics card passed through to the virtual machine(for hardware acceleration to perform operations related to decoding and encoding video streams). I have tried to install the nvidia driver by running ubuntu-drivers devices command to get the recommended driver and apt install nvidia-driver-525 to install,then nvidia-smi to test the installation but got “No devices were found” with no luck.
Recently, I’ve tried many ways to work it out by running different ubuntu distributions VMs(18.04,22.04),and different versions of nvidia drivers such as 460,470，but still got the ‘No devices were found’ :(

Graphics card works fine on win10 which directly run on physical machine.
Also can be detected by lspci
Here is my hardware list(which running the esxi8.0) below,
CPU: Intel 6700
Mainboard: Asrock H270M Pro4
GPU: Onda GeForce 1650 4G DDR6(TU116)

After doing some search, I rebuilt Ubuntu server 22.04.2 LTS VM and install nvidia drivers following by this.
Unfortunately,I got ‘No devices were found’ again. :(
